James Edward has been covering high school sports in Utah for the Deseret News for 25 years, serving as the high school sports editor for the past 20. A Utah native, Edward graduated from the University of Utah. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, golfing and building Lego.
